An unplanned power cut is affecting a number of homes and businesses in Donegal town tonight.
The fault was reported at 7pm, with around 1,000 properties impacted.
The issue has been reported to ESB Networks.
Repair works are underway it is expected that supply will be restored by around 1:45am tomorrow.
Fallen electricity wires are live and dangerous – never approach or touch them.
