Several areas of Donegal are still without power as a result of the damage caused by Storm Franklin.

Some homes have been without electricity for up to 48 hours as a result of the storm which battered the county yesterday morning.

ESB Networks have crews on the ground trying to reconnect as many customers as they can.

However, there are still reported faults in a number of places including Dunfanaghy, Milford, Carrigart, Carndonagh, Moville and Malin.

Many of these pockets of homes will be without power until 10pm tonight.

However, other areas including Convoy have been told they may be without power until tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at 7pm.
