Donegal county councillor elected chair of HSE Health Forum West

Donegal county councillor Gerry McMonagle is the new chair of the HSE Health Forum West.

The Letterkenny-based Sinn Fein councillor was elected to the position in Galway City following two years of virtual meetings.

The forum brings together councillors from across the west-northwest region and senior HSE officials to discusses matters of public health.

It covers Donegal, Limerick, Galway, Clare, Leitrim, Mayo, North Tipperary, Roscommon and Sligo.
