A new weather warning has been issued for Donegal with winds of up to 110kph across the county from today.
The warning comes into effect from 1pm this afternoon (Thursday) and will remain in place until 8pm this evening.
The warning is a status Yellow Warning.
A spokesperson for Met Eireann said “This afternoon and evening, very strong west to northwest winds will gust to speeds up to 110 km/hr with significantly higher gusts at times in Co. Donegal in the late afternoon and evening, especially in coastal areas.”
