Motorists are being urged to take extreme care this morning due to hazardous road conditions in the county.
A night of hail, sleet and snow has led to icy stretches on untreated surfaces.
A status yellow snow/ice warning remains in place for Donegal until 12noon today. Another alert comes into force this Thursday night due to further strong and gusty west to northwest winds. This status yellow warning will be valid in Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 8am to 6pm Thursday.
