Donegal is set to be hit with strong to gale force winds this evening.
Met Eireann has upgraded its alert to Status Orange from 4pm until 7pm. A status yellow warning remains in place from 1pm until 8pm.
The forecaster said gusts of up to 130 km/hr can be expected.
Possible impacts include the displacement of objects, fallen trees, large coastal waves, difficult driving conditions and dangerous conditions at sea.
