The Donegal Intercultural Platform will hold a solidarity fundraising morning this Tuesday in support of Ukrainian refugees impacted by the crisis in their country.
The pancakes for PEACE event takes place from 11am to 1pm at the Donegal Intercultural Platform office on the Oliver Plunkett Road in Letterkenny.
All welcome – funds will be donated to UNICEF Ukrainian children’s fund and Polska Akcja Humanitarna (Polish Humanitarian Action – Working on the Polish – Ukrainian border)
Fundraising will be ongoing throughout March and if you cannot visit you can donate online to UNICEF directly.
As a Human Rights based non-governmental organisation we echo the words of António Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations – “GIVE PEACE A CHANCE”
Come along, donate what you can, have a cuppa and maybe a pancake too…
Due to public health realities, we will have to manage to keep numbers at a safe level during this event.
