As part of the celebrations for the national holiday on March 17th, the Bundoran parade will incorporate “St PETrick’s Day” where they are inviting pet owners to participate in the parade through town.

Parade Director John O’Connell said “We’ve had a lot of interest from community groups and businesses wishing to take part in the parade this year which we are very grateful for however we want to include as many people as possible and we’re inviting people to parade their pets with us too. So we would encourage any pet owners that would like to take part, to sign up on our website www.discoverbundoran.com/parade.’

The parade committee is also announcing that they will broadcast the parade live on the day on the Discover Bundoran Facebook page.

Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth added ‘while we know that many people will be in Bundoran for the parade, we are also aware that many people cannot make it on the day so once again we will make a live broadcast of the parade available through the Discover Bundoran Facebook page on the day so viewers can experience the next best thing! It will be available for anyone to watch across the globe on the day.’

Information on everything happening in Bundoran will be available at http://www.discoverbundoran.com/stpatricksday with the live broadcast available at http://www.facebook.com/discoverbundoran
