Get well soon ‘young man’ from all at Donegal Daily

The team at Donegal Daily would like to take this opportunity to wish a speedy recovery to our esteemed colleague and friend, Harry Walsh.

A Senior Reporter with our media counterparts, the Donegal News, Harry suffered a serious heart attack at home in Ardara this morning.

Luckily his family, and the local community, were able to act in time and, no doubt, save his life.

Whilst in competition with this publication, we are more than happy to consider Harry as a great friend and colleague.

He is always on hand to support us in both our professional and private lives.

Again, we wish Harry a quick recovery and hope to see him back on the beat soon.

He is in our thoughts as are the rest of his family including wife Patricia, daughter Megan and sons Danny and Paul.

We feel the below post, from his local Ardara GAA Club, sums up the importance of community first responders – well done to them all.

Picture above is Harry along with this sons, Paul (left) and Danny, who were among those who helped save his life early today.
