The team at Mountain Warehouse Letterkenny have issued a huge thank you to everyone who supported a Ukrainian relief collection point at their store today.
The store partnered with Donegal Groupage to support the Pallet Network’s work delivering essential items to those affected by the war.
A huge volume of goods was packed into a lorry for delivery to the Polish-Ukraine border for refugee relief.
A spokesperson for the Mountain Warehouse team said: “We are amazed at how generous people have been and were overwhelmed at the response we got. We filled a truck with food, medical supplies, clothing and other useful items that is now on its way down to Dublin for onward travel to Poland.
“If we could kindly ask that people don’t bring any more donations today but truly appreciate the efforts that everyone, in particular Donegal Groupage, has made in making this collection possible. Every box and bag received will go where they’re needed most.”
