A Donegal coach company is playing its part in helping the people of the Ukraine.
Michael Friel Coaches is aiming to fill one of their coaches with aid this St Patrick’s Day so it can be shipped to the war-thorn country.
The coach will be parked at Applegreen Filling Station in Letterkenny on St Patricks Day from 9am until 1pm.
The company is appealing for people to donate items which can be shipped to Ukraine.
The items required include bandages, dressings, nappies, sanitary products, surgical gloves/wipes, baby food, teething gels, wipes, bottled water and tinned food.
The group are not accepting cash donations.
The team will then transport the items to Dublin, where it will be transferred from our coach onto one of Paddywagon Tours coaches.
On Tuesday evening 22nd March a convoy of 5 Paddywagon coaches will leave Dublin for the the Polish/Ukraine border dropping off the essentials supplies.
The coaches will then return to Ireland with Ukrainian woman and children.
If you would like to donate to this worthy cause then drop off your donations on the day or contact Gavin on 0876656582.
