A Donegal community has extended a huge welcome to the Ukrainian refugees who have moved to their area.
The Yellow & Blue event was hosted by Glen Rovers FC in the Letterkenny Community Centre on Sunday evening.
Refreshments were served on the evening with massive donations of sports gear for the Ukrainian children, while Mother’s Day gifts were also donated for the Ukrainian mothers.
Glen Rovers FC want to thank everyone who donated and helped out in making the event such a huge success but especially to all the mammies who took time out of their own Mother’s Day to help make the event possible and run so smoothly.
The club are excited to see their new Ukrainian friends and soon to be teammates again.
