Gardaí in Buncrana have launched an investigation into the circumstances behind a criminal damage incident in the town.

A home at St. Egney’s Terrace on the Cockhill Road in Buncrana was targeted last Wednesday morning.

At approx 5am, the front window and the glass on the front door of the house were smashed in.

As the crime was committed in a built-up area, gardaí are hoping to get in contact with any witnesses. If you have any information that may assist with the investigation, please contact Buncrana Garda Station on (074) 932 0540.
