The Mica Protest planned to coincide with Taoiseach Micheal Martin’s Letterkenny visit today has been cancelled.
The Letterkenny Chamber is due to host their President’s Chamber Lunch with the Taoiseach at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
At the same time, Mica homeowners were planning to stage a protest outside the venue.
However, the protest has been cancelled after the Taoiseach agreed to meet members of the Mica Action Group (MAG).
“The Mica Redress online campaign and the display in Derry last night ensured An Taoiseach will see and hear the real issues faced by homeowners,” a MAG spokesperson said.
“As soon as the meeting has concluded we will update you all.”
