It will be cool with a mix of cloud and sunny spells early this morning, according to Met Éireann.
However, cloud will be on the increase in the west and by the middle of the day outbreaks of rain will begin to nudge in from the northwest to leave a fairly dull damp afternoon and evening.
The dull damp conditions will just slowly extend eastwards, so maintaining some brighter spells in east Ulster until about mid-afternoon.
Dull and damp across the region though for the evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in mostly moderate winds.
It will be a cloudy night with outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
The rain will be heaviest and most persistent in western parts. Not as cold as recent nights though, with lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.
