Letterkenny singer Brí Carr is adding her voice to autism awareness through a powerful new song.

Brí, a well-known teacher and fundraiser, released a single called ‘White Noise’ for World Autism Day on 2nd April.

The song was written over two years ago, but this year, Brí collaborated with artist and actor Eoghan Bonner to bring the lyrics to life.

See the music video here:

Brí said: “It took the imagination of Eoghan as well as help from my pals, Yvonne Fahy and Terry McGinty to set it free.”

Brí now wants to share her song with schoolchildren to help promote understanding of autism. If any teachers wish to get the backing track and lyrics they can contact bricarrmusic@yahoo.com or download off Band Camp.

Brí would like to thank Donegal Education Centre for supporting this initiative, adding that she is looking forward to hearing many versions of White Noise sung by the children of Donegal schools.

“Thank you Eoghan, thank you Yvonne and huge thanks to Ms Browne, Ms Boyle and the Crannóg, Lurgybrack for continuously inspiring us.”
