Donegal County Council have agreed to lease land in Stranorlar to Sean MacCumhaills for a new training pitch.
The 1.6 hectare land is to be used to build a training pitch for use by the clubs underage sides.
MacCumhaills said on the agreement: “Sean MacCumhaills CLG are delighted that the members of Donegal County Council have approved this lease arrangement.
“This is a significant step forward for our Club in providing Gaelic games to the young people in our community and we look forward to working with the staff in Donegal County Council to finalise all the details of the lease.
“A massive thanks to our local elected representatives Cllr Patrick McGowan, Cllr Martin Harley and Cllr Gary Doherty and of course our hard working Club Facilities Development Sub Group.
