Arranmore United 8-0 Milford United Reserves
Arranmore hosted Milford on a beautiful day at Rannagh Park. The Islanders were looking to make up for the narrow defeat to Strand last week. From the outset, Arranmore were the dominant team with plenty of chances in the opening half hour without reward.
That all changed though as Glenn O’ Donnell took a great touch inside the box and fired to the net. Five minutes later, Arranmore were awarded a penalty which was converted by Brian Proctor.Just before the half time markJohn Roper made a great run in from the left and scored to make it 3-0 at the break.
Arranmore continued their dominance in the 2nd half and then with the introduction of Gavin Mc Glanaghey continued the scoring spree.Gavin soon got at the end of a loose ball and fired it into the net.Mardy Mc Garrigle shortly afterwards got on the score board with a fantastic run through the Milford defence before slotting it home.
Gavin again was in the right place at the right time as a great pass across goal from Glenn found him to make it six.Brian Proctor then doubled his tally with a piercing run through the backline. Moments before the end of the game, Supersub Gavin completed his Hat-trick. Exceptional performance from the Islanders with John Roper and Gavin Mc Glanaghey playing superbly.

Fintown Harps AFC 0-5 Kildrum Tigers Reserves
In great conditions at Parc Achla, Kildrum, with a strong panel, got the better of Fintown who were forced to make a lot of changes to their team.
Kildrum led 2-0 at the interval as the best chances for Fintown saw Stephen Boyle and Shan Mc Millan go close. The Kildrum tally was then completed by Michael Devine who helped himself to a second half hat-trick.
Glencar Celtic 0-3 Keadue Rovers Reserves
Glencar were defeated at home to Keadue by 3 goals to 1 in what was a poor performance all over the pitch by Glencar, not to take anything away from Keadue who were good on the day. A good team performance from Keadue Rovers.
Oldtown Celtic 4-1 Strand Rovers
Oldtown and Strand met in a closely fought contest at the Letterkenny Community Centre. Strand got off to a flying start but Michael Gibson in the Oldtown goal made a smart save to prevent them taking an early lead.
Both teams where having a go without really testing either keeper. Oldtown then began to come into the game and took the lead when Kevin Mc Grath chased a ball in behind and picked out Tommy Mc Laughlin who fired home from 10 yards out. Strand kept chipping away to get back into the game but Oldtown then scored a second.
Luke Nelis was fouled in the box and Tommy Mc Laughlin picked his spot. Strand then deservedly got a goal back. Good pressure forced a defensive mistake and it allowed Strand to come back into the game before the break. The second half began with both teams battling for the next goal before Oldtown added a third.
A McLaughlin flick released Luke Friel and his cross come shot found Kevin McGrath at the back post who tucked home. Strand continued to battle to get back into the game but the Oldtown defence stood strong. Kevin Mc Govern in the Strand goal made a fantastic fingertip save from a Joe McCarron free-kick before he then saved a penalty from Gio Peoples.
Joe McCarron added Oldtown’s 4th with minutes to go with a fantastic chip from outside the area. A great game with team performances from both side, who will meet again in the Voodoo Venue Cup final at the end of the season.

Ballybofey United Reserves 2-6 Drumoghill F.C. Reserves
This turned out to be as comprehensive as the scoreline suggests as Drumoghill Reserves made a three point raid on Dreenan on Saturday afternoon. They actually led 6-0 at one stage of the match which had started slowly until the men from “The Moss” opened the scoring after 20 minutes.
Despite chasing the game from then on the Ballybofey cause wasn’t helped by having to play out a large portion of the match with ten men as they had used their substitutions before losing a player to a foot injury. They did however have some joy near the end as they mustered up two consolation goals to lessen the weight of this heavy home defeat.
Castlefin Celtic Reserves 1-3 Drumbar F.C.
Drumbar collected all three points in Castlefin on Saturday. A first half goal by Dylan Mc Hugh had the visitors one up. Vinny Breslin and Connor Gillespie increased Drumbar’s lead in the second half. Castlefin pulled one back from the penalty spot from Reece Gallagher.

St. Catherines Reserves 0-6 Dunlewey Celtic
Dunlewey strengthened their position at the top of the league with a comprehensive 6-0 win over an understrength St Catherines’ side.
The visitors started brightly and went ahead after six minutes when Paul Coll headed home from a corner. The same player was on target five minutes later with an unstoppable shot which gave keeper Dara Brennan no chance. Dunlewey continued to dominate and centre forward Eamonn Collum weighed in with two more goals, the first a fine shot from the edge of the area followed by a tap-in just before half time after a mix-up in the home defence.
The second half was a more even affair with St. Catherines threatening on a few occasions before Joseph Devenney slotted home Dunlewey’s fifth on the hour mark. Brendan Mc Geady completed the scoring five minutes from time to cap a well-deserved victory.

Donegal Town 2 -0 Kildrum Tigers
Donegal played host to Kildrum at the Hospital Field on Sunday. Very evenly balanced first half which remained scoreless. Second half found Donegal attack and ball came off post only to end up in the net from Kildrum player.
Joe Mac, who was a thorn in Kildrum’s side was threaded through from a great pass by Ronan Mc Hugh only to be taken down by Kildrum keeper. Eoin Slevin converted.
Great team performance from “Town” with Joe Mc Intyre and Enda Kenny excellent. Best for Kildrum were Kevin Mc Hugh and Lynch. Referee: Mick Lagan.

Ballybofey United 0-2 Raphoe Town
This match paired two evenly matched sides at Dreenan on Sunday. The visitors, wind assisted, shaded the opening half and went in a goal to the good at the break.
Ballybofey will rue several missed chances when the action resumed. Raphoe got the decisive second goal when they foiled a United attack before breaking down-field and adding to their tally.
The win lifts Raphoe up to fourth in the Table while Ballybofey are locked in something of a Dogfight in the Relegation Zone with plenty still to play for in the last three matches with nine points still available.
Cranford United 1-9Swilly Rovers
Second half domination from Swilly saw them cruise to the three points. Swilly were quick out of the blocks and took the lead from an own-goal.
Cranford responded well and levelled from a Conor Mc Fadden corner that sailed into the top corner. Swilly went ahead again straight after from Conor Gormley. In the second half it was soon 3-1 from a Damien Friel header and from there it was all a one-way showing with goals from Kyle Black, Cameron Gormley, Marty Mc Daid and Tyler Durning completing the rout.

Milford United 2-2 Drumoghill F.C.
Drumoghill snatched a late equaliser to deny the home team a vital three points on Sunday at Moyle View Park. Milford took the lead when Liam Donnelly got on to the end of a Joey Cullen through ball to finish with finesse to the bottom corner on 30minutes.
Drumoghill’s first chance of the half was tipped over by the impressive Eoin Mc Gettigan in the Milford goal. Just before the break a poor clearance by Milford was pounced on by Lee Smith who rattled the ball home. Milford had a few one on one chances but were denied by great goalkeeping by the Drumoghill keeper, Wilson, Merritt and Killian Mc Bride all denied. After the break Milford started very strong and within minutes Mark Wilson had a one on one but again was denied by good goal keeping.
Milford missed a few opportunities before good work by Joey Cullen found Merritt in the box and he chested the ball home on 75minutes. Drumoghill pushed for an equaliser while Milford had more than enough chances to win the game but failed to convert. In the dying minutes the visitors created a series of corners and Conor Tourish rose highest at the back post to head home.
Both teams are still involved in a fight to avoid relegation and it will be an interesting end to the season.

Deele Harps 1-2 Lagan Harps
Deele welcomed Lagan Harps to Lifford for their penultimate game of a disappointing season. It was the away side who led at half time through a Damien Nelis goal midway through the first Half. Deele equalised on 54 minutes when Sean Mc Gowan’s free kick somehow evaded the Lagan keeper to level things up. The remainder of the game was a scrappy affair and Lagan grabbed all three points late on in the game when Kieran Cunningham finished well. Deele will welcome the end of a disappointing campaign and with a new pitch in the pipeline surely better days ahead. Team performances.
