Dublin Airport has introduced extra security lanes to improve the flow of passengers jetting off on Easter Holidays.
Large numbers passed through the airport this morning, with more queues reported outside Terminal 1 for those travelling on early morning flights.
Passengers arriving early today reported better security experiences, with many getting through the process in less than an hour. The current estimated wait times this morning, as of 9.30am, is 30 minutes.
The Dublin Airport Authority said its staff taskforce is assisting operations.
“We are currently managing the flow of passengers into the terminal as part of a carefully planned process with the aim of keeping passengers safe and ultimately making sure passengers make their flights on time. We have 10 security lanes open in T1 and queues are moving steadily.”
Passengers are advised to only arrive up to three and half hours before your flight.
“We are working hard to recruit hundreds of additional staff required across our business given the pace of the recovery in international travel again,” they said on Twitter.
