Kasia said: “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
I’m so lucky to live in such a great community and be surrounded by beautiful people with big open hearts.
“Last Sunday April the 10th we came together to show our love and support for Ukraine and our Ukrainian friends.
It was an absolute pleasure and honour to have our Ukrainian guests currently staying at the Malin Town Hotel with us.
I heard lots of stories, we cried together but also we had lots of laughter together and seeing their smiling faces even for a couple of hours was priceless. When a community comes together only wonderful things happens.
“I would love to thank you all from the bottom of my heart to everyone who supported me, helped me make this happen and everyone who came along, bought the raffle ticket or kindly made donations.
“We raised together an amazing €2,105.23 and all money goes to the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Appeal”.
