Traffic is heavy in Letterkenny this afternoon after two separate crashes.

The crashes both happened around 2.30pm close to the Polestar Roundabout and also at the old Pramerica Roundabout out of town towards Mountain Top.

There are no reports of any serious injuries but traffic is already building up in both areas.

Traffic is already busy in the town ahead of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The crash at the old Pramerica Roundabout involves three cars and a van.

Gardai are at the scene.
