Gardai in Buncrana are investigating an incident of criminal damage in Ballyliffin.
The Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge took place on Saturday last and in preparation for the event the organisers had placed a number of traffic cones out along the roads in the area.
Unfortunately, in the early hours of the morning of April 16th (between Midnight and 4am approx.), approximately 17 of these cones in the Pollen Bay area were driven over and damaged as a result.
Gardai believe this was done deliberately.
A Garda spokesperson said “We ask anybody with any information in relation to this incident to please contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.”
