The extension project at Glenmaquin National School in Letterkenny has received approval to proceed to construction under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.

This follows news in February that the project had moved to tender stage.

The project will consist of a classroom and toilets.

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Donegal T.D., Charlie McConalogue, welcomed the news.

The Minister commented “I’m delighted to the project is moving swiftly and this is good news for the Glenmaquin community. Congratulations to all involved in moving along this important project.”
