The sun is set to shine in Donegal all weekend for the end of the Easter Holidays.

But don’t forget a jacket if you’re planning a beach trip, as temperatures will remain cool!

Donegal is set to enjoy bright, sunny and dry weather this Saturday and Sunday, with the forecast staying pleasant into next week too.

Tonight (Friday) will be dry with temperatures dipping to lows of 3 to 5C. Saturday will be mostly dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, Met Eireann says, with highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees Celsius.

Sunday will also see temperatures ranging from 13 to 16 degrees Celsius.

The national outlook until Tuesday says: “While there may be a few stray showers at times there will generally be a lot of dry weather with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid-teens, coolest in the east with the onshore winds brisk at times.”
