The drivers will undertake the near 700km route on their restored vintage tractors which span an era of agriculture from the 1950’s to the late 1980’s. The vehicles have all been restored to concourse condition and are all a credit to their owners.
Some of the those taking part are no strangers to long distance runs in all types of weather, but they are hopeful of pleasant conditions for this long-distance route.
The participants are also open to offers of sponsorship for their endeavours and if a business is prepared to contribute and supply suitable signage (900mm x 900mm), it will be positioned favourably on a vehicle and the relevant business are assured of mentions and coverage on social media.
Please come out and support the participants on their route and give generously to their cause.
The Kilmainhamwood Vintage Club, recently presented a cheque for €26,000 to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Fund and hope to raise much more from this event.
