Netflix is among the big buyers to scoop up the new Liam Neeson film that is being shot in Donegal, it has been revealed.
Filming is underway in Glencolmcille, Ardara and Kilcar for In The Land Of Saints And Sinners, a Hollywood action film that also stars Ciaran Hinds (Belfast).
And more star names have now been added to the impressive cast list, which now includes Colm Meaney (Star Trek), Kerry Condon (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) and Jack Gleeson (Game Of Thrones).
Deadline magazine reports a host of international buyers that have come forward to pre-buy the film, including Netflix for UK and Ireland audiences. Read more at: www.deadline.com
In the Land of Saints and Sinner tells the story of a retired assassin who is forced into a game of cat and mouse with three terrorists. The film is directed by Robert Lorenz who worked with Neeson on the recent box-office hit ‘The Marksman.’
Locals have been excited to see pieces of the action already, as filming took place in Glencolmcille in recent days.
