Declan Bonner praised his Donegal sides ‘huge performance’ in the Ulster Championship quarter-final over Armagh.
Donegal were 0-9 to 0-6 ahead at half-time and a Patrick McBrearty goal gave them a commanding lead as they controlled the game for the final 20 minutes to win 1-16 to 0-12.
Bonner said: “I could sense over the last three weeks in terms of getting back to training that this was Championship mode now and that’s exactly what it was to be honest.”
He added: “There’s still room for improvement, if we think that’s our lot then we’ll come crashing back down so we have work to do now to get ready to take on Cavan in two weeks.”
