Four Donegal players have been named in the 2022 Lidl Ladies National Football League Team of Division 1.
Evelyn McGinley and Karen Guthrie are two of just three players to be named in the team again from 2021, with Dublin’s Hannah Tyrrell also making it two in a row for selection in the team.
Guthrie was also named in the 2019 team, making it three in a row for her as the 2020 season was cancelled midway through due to the pandemic.
The Donegal duo are joined by captain Niamh McLaughlin and Nicole McLaughlin.
Donegal lost the league final to Meath by 2-8 to 1-9.
Meath had seven players named in the team, with Dublin having three representatives and Mayo having one.
