Garda are investigating a serious assault on a man in Buncrana last weekend.
The man was attacked just after 2am on Saturday morning last on the Railway Road.
The victim managed to walk to St Mary’s Road but took unwell there following the attack.
An ambulance took the victim to hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
