Gardaí are warning people to be on alert for any suspicious attempts to sell jewellery after a recent burglary.
A substantial amount of jewellery was stolen from a business on Letterkenny’s Port Road at the weekend. The building was broken into sometime between 5pm Friday 29th April and 9:15pm Saturday 30th April. A window to the rear of the building on the Port Road was smashed and entry was gained.
Garda spokesperson Sean Sweeney today urged people to contact gardaí immediately if they see any jewellery for sale in suspicious circumstances.
