Garda appeal after car stolen and burnt out

Gardaí are appealing for dashcam footage after an SUV was stolen and later set on fire in Carndonagh.

A white Volkswagen Tiguan (partial reg 202D75) was stolen on Sunday night/Monday morning last from an address at Whin Park, Glentogher Carndonagh. The vehicle was taken sometime between 8.30pm Sunday 1st May and 1.30am Monday 2nd May.

Gardaí were contacted about the crime in the early hours of Monday morning. The SUV was later located by gardaí on fire at the Ballyloskey Road Carndonagh.

A public appeal was made today to ask anyone who believes they observed the car in question on the road between 8.30pm and 2.45am to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 0749320540
