Four unstoppable Inishowen men have set off on the final stage of a mammoth walk from Mizen Head to Malin Head for mental health charities.

Pat Doherty, Garreth Monagle, Liam Douglas and Michael Doherty have been on the road since Sunday, walking the length of the country raising funds for Pieta and Insight Inishowen, Buncrana.

Today is a special day as they complete the journey at the Darkness into Light event in Malin Head. They are due to arrive in Malin Town today (Friday) at 12.30pm. Their walk will conclude at sunrise tomorrow morning, leaving from Star of the Sea Church Malin Head to the Tower.

Every step of the way, the inspirational men have been raising awareness of mental health issues and supports.

Everyone is welcome to join them in the last leg and all donations are greatly appreciated.
