Families will be able to enjoy a newly-upgraded playground at Letterkenny Town Park this summer following extensive works.

Works are ongoing to rebuild the ‘Sweet Factory Playground’ in Bernard McGlinchey Town Park after it fell into disrepair over the years.

The contractor started works 8th February 2022 and work is due for completion by early June 2022.

Mayor of Letterkenny Milford Jimmy Kavanagh, who has long been campaigning for the redevelopment of the town park, raised the matter again at this month’s municipal district meeting.
