A man has been caught ‘cold-handed’ after nabbing an ice cream sign and trying to take it into a Letterkenny hotel.

The Mount Errigal Hotel took a pop at the brazen man by posting their feat on Facebook today.

The man was caught on CCTV taking the giant cone through the front door of the hotel.

Staff at the Mount Errigal couldn’t be licked and are now trying to get the sign reunited with its owner.

The Facebook post said: “Attention all shop owners in Letterkenny, an Angelito ice cream cone sign has been located here in the hotel. Please get in contact if your sign is missing.”
