Picture Special: Finn Harps Schools 3rd/4th Class Cup

Finn Harps School recently hosted a 3rd/4th Class Cup football competition that some schools in Donegal participated in.

With more than 10 schools participating, and nearly 300 children taking part, the whole tournament was a success and was enjoyed by both pupils participating and teachers and assistants who coached their teams.

The boys tournament was won by Scoil Naisiunta An Choimin, Cloghan while the girls tournament was won by Scoil Mhuire, Ramelton.

Winning Girls Team: Scoil Mhuire, Ramelton.

John Campbell, Finn Harps Schools Co-ordinator said: “Congrats to the winning schools and their pupils, but also a massive congrats to all schools who took part in a really successful day of football involving over 280 girls and boys.

“The kids all played the games in a great spirit, with a smile on their face and that’s is great credit to their teachers and schools.

“We have another busy few weeks coming up with more competitions next number of weeks and I’d like to take this opportunity to thanks our main sponsors Kernans and Inishowen Motors for their brilliant ongoing support in helping us put on days like this.”
