A cash reward is being offered for information in relation to a hit-and-run which occurred in east Donegal this morning.

A black BMW car is reported to have struck a Kia Cabs bus on the Broad Road between Convoy and Kilross Junction.

“I’m looking for some dash cam footage from anybody who was on the Broad Road this morning from 7am to 7:20am between Kilross and Convoy,” a spokesperson for the private bus and taxi firm said.

“A black BMW hit one of my buses and drove off. Cash reward for any information, thanks.”

A spokesperson for the Garda Press Office confirmed the incident is under investigation.

“Two vehicles collided on a stretch of road causing minor damage and no injuries were reported. One vehicle failed to remain at the scene.”

Anyone with information in relation to this incident should contact Kia Cabs on 087 997 7005 or get in touch with Ballybofey Garda Station.
