A West Donegal man has pleaded guilty to having more than €13,000 worth of cannabis when arrested by Gardai.
Gardai apprehended Alan Lynch at Park, Brinalack on August 12th, 2020 and found him in possession of the drugs.
He appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to having the drugs for sale and supply.
The 36-year-old was charged under Section 15 A of the Criminal Justice Act and 27A of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
His barrister, Mr Colm Smith, told the court that a probation report may be of some use to the court before final sentencing.
He added that his client was urgent to get the matter dealt with.
Judge John Aylmer agreed to the request and adjourned the case for final sentencing to the October session of the court.
