Former Donegal star Eamonn McGee is calling on local GAA clubs to show their colours for Pride month this June.

Buncrana will host Inishowen’s first Pride parade this Sunday 5th June. The family-friendly event takes place on Main Street at 3pm and will feature national organisations, local businesses and community groups celebrating inclusion and equality.

Eamonn McGee is calling on GAA communities across Donegal to let their rainbow-coloured flags fly in support of the event.

McGee said: “It’s a great opportunity to show how far Donegal has come on and show we can support our brothers and sisters and make this county a welcome and inclusive place for everyone.”

Save the date for Sunday 5th June 2022 and meet at 3pm in Buncrana for the first-ever PRIDE parade in Inishowen. Follow the committee on Facebook ‘Inishowen Pride’ to keep up to date and for further information or email: inishowenpride@gmail.com
