The Donegal Youth Service, Our Generation Project, is bringing the Party in The Park back with a top line-up!

The Our Generation Project funded by the European Union Peace IV fund is very excited to announce that the popular annual event for young people is back to celebrate its 16th year.

After a two-year hiatus, this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever and will take place on Friday the 24th of June from 12-6pm in the Letterkenny town park. As always, entry is free so mark your diaries and bring the whole family for a fantastic fun day out.

There will be something for all ages including live music from up and coming young bands and individual singer-songwriters, an art tent, festival face painting, clowns, Circus Skills, games hosted by In Your Space, Belfast’s TAMHI project, intercultural dance performances and so much more.

This year, The Party in the Park will boast live acts to suit all tastes from newcomers, The Ephades, to our own Ryan Cunningham, with appearances from Joel Harkin, Boy M5, Donegal’s Neptune M, and headliners and rising stars, Cherym from Derry!

The Party in the Park has been an invaluable platform that has showcased promising young talent through the years. Famous bands and performers who now have successful recording contracts started out at the Party in the Park including members of Fontaines DC, The Murder Capital, In Their Thousands, Phat Kidz, Eve Belle and many more!

Donegal Youth Service’s Our Generation project welcomes all young people and their families and loved ones to come along and celebrate together! Party in the Park will be a non-alcoholic and drug-free event.
