Watch: Donegal gets jiving for the Hospice!

Donegal Hospice is calling on dancers to get up and get jiving and donating this June!

The virtual fundraiser is back this month and the craze has already reached Ramelton. Watch Bri Carr, Jason McCahill and friends in action here:

David and Richard Gordon, the jiving stars of Magherabuoy, kicked off the fundraiser in style on the David James show at Highland Radio HQ.

The brothers shot to fame last year when they entered the upbeat fundraiser, so it was fitting that they would be back and giving it welly again for 2022.

Daniel O’Donnell and Letterkenny singer Sinead Black have stepped up to the challenge too!

The Jive for June fundraiser invites people to get up and get dancing for the Donegal Hospice. All you have to do is have a dance, in your kitchen, in your garden, or in your workplace, and share your video with Donegal Hospice and Highland Radio. Once you’ve done that, you can invite friends and family to donate to Donegal Hospice at: https://www.idonate.ie/swift/jiveforjune2022. Alternatively, call Isobel at the number below to donate over the phone.

The virtual fundraiser began last summer during Covid, when events like Sunflower Day and Church Gate collections could not take place. An incredible €55,100 was raised over the month.

And if you need the inspiration to get moving, David James at Highland Radio will be sure to get you dancing at Jive Time every day at 3pm!
