Over a thousand people lined the streets of Buncrana this afternoon to witness Donegal’s first ever ‘Pride’.

Organised by Inishowen Pride, the colourful fun-filled day got underway at 3pm at Scoil Mhuire.

Huge crowds watched in the sunshine as the parade made its way along St Mary’s Road and then through Main Street before ending at the car park at Buncrana Library.

Hundreds took part in the carnival which looks set to become an annual event.
