When the sun shines, it puts Donegal’s amazing natural beauty in the spotlight.

As Donegal basked in glorious weather last weekend, photographer Jamie McCracken seized the chance to document stunning scenes around the hills and coast.

The cinematic drone footage soars over the north west highlands and beaches of Donegal, featuring Lough Salt, Doe Castle, Murder Hole beach, Errigal and beyond.

A tourism advert in itself, this video will be sure to inspire your next adventure in Donegal:

Jamie is a passionate photographer born and raised on the North Coast in Northern Ireland. He spends a lot of his spare time in Donegal, following the footsteps of his dad and grandad who also really enjoyed exploring Donegal.

Jamie said: “I have been a photographer now for over 5 years with a lot of landscape photography experience and have built a large commercial portfolio over the last year. I started the drone photography/videography recently in the past couple of months as We wanted to offer an independent drone photography service in the family estate agent business, I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying every second.”
