A creative Donegal businesswoman is perfecting her business pitch after securing a place in the SheGenerate showcase final.

Lisa Breslin from Lifford, founder of Imagine Lab, is one of six entrepreneurs competing in the first-ever online final of the SheGenerate programme for female founders.

Lisa will be sharing the strategy of her creative start-up with the Awaken Hub community, co-founded by Donegal-based investor Mary McKenna. The winning idea will be awarded £500. The winner will be decided through a live vote.

SheGenerate is the first ever accelerator-lite founders programme for women across the island of Ireland organised by AwakenHub, with the final taking place on Tuesday 14th June.

Lisa got involved with the programme to develop her creative branding studio Imagine Lab. With 20 years’ experience working in the creative industry in the north west, Lisa has a passion for all things design and branding. She prides herself on providing high quality graphic content to ensure brands not only stand out, but are remembered.

Since setting up in 2021, Imagine Lab has worked on branding projects for start ups, helped established SaaS businesses with animated and video content for funding applications, created content for online marketing campaigns and helped build front end web design content, while also mentoring social enterprises on branding and marketing.  The company is based within the Digihub, Stranorlar, with a client base throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. Clients include a non-alcoholic drinks company on Rathlin Island, to cyber security and IT in Dublin.

Eight months ago, 56 women from 51 very early stage start up businesses were selected to participate in the SheGenerate Programme, which is made possible by the support of Rethink Ireland SED Fund, Ulster Bank NI & Pulsar NI. They have participated in a series of 6 half-day workshops plus over 50 bespoke Big Sister sessions with domain experts from across the AwakenHub community of allies in Ireland, UK and the USA.

So if you want to watch the final to be inspired, support someone you know who might be pitching or just nosey and want to see more, then come along to the online final. Registration is available at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/shegenerate-showcase-shegenerate-20-news-tickets-260771503587?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
