A creative mixologist from Moville is putting her own twist on home-delivered cocktails.
Cassie Lafferty is the new owner of The Cocktail Co., a company that makes fresh artisan cocktails and delivers them directly to your doorstep.
ll you have to do is open and pour – and forget about shopping for ingredients, measurements and sticky worktops!
This is Cassie’s second week at the helm, after taking over from local cocktail guru Niall McColgan. Cassie has eight years of experience in the busy bar scene. Many would recognise her from McGettigan’s in Moville and she has previously worked at the Redcastle Hotel and the Foyle Hotel.
In those years, she’s developed some very special serves that she is excited to share with customers.
“People love getting the cocktails in for barbecues, pre-drinks or gifts. Niall is great at what he does and I’ve adopted his recipes. I’ve tweaked them to my taste and it’s going down well so far,” Cassie said.
The fun and mostly fruity recipes range from the tropical favourite Pornstar Martini, to the summer Strawberry Daiquiris, the fun Mama Mia or the romantic ‘L’amour’. The pre-mixed bottles serve 6, or the Cocktail Co Giftbox contains four double serves as the perfect gift. The cocktails are made fresh by Cassie, so they are preservative free and have a 10-day shelf life.
