Gardai in Ballybofey became their own witnesses to a crash in the town last week.

Gardai in the station on Main Street heard a loud bang at 1.15am on Friday morning last, June 10th.

When they rushed outside they found a street sign had been crashed into but the driver had fled in their vehicle.

Anybody who may know the identity of the driver is asked to contact Letterkenny Gardai on 0749167100.
