Letterkenny takeaway puts the brakes on orders during rally weekend

A popular Letterkenny takeaway has announced that it will close this weekend because traffic will make deliveries ‘impossible’.

Burrito Loco on the Port Road told customers it will close from Friday 17th June to Sunday 19th.

Over the years, heavy traffic on the Port Road and Main Street during rally weekend has turned the town centre into a no-go zone.

Expecting the same situation this year, a statement from Burrito Loco management said: “This traffic makes deliveries impossible and makes it much more difficult for customers to get to us for collections or sit-in.

“We know this may frustrate some but we hope you understand and appreciate your patience.”

Customers are encouraged to get their burrito fix tomorrow, Thursday or on Monday “after the madness”.
