A woman arrested yesterday in connection with human trafficking in Co Donegal has been released without charge.
Gardaí from the Human Trafficking Investigation and Coordination Unit (HTICU) at the Garda National Protective Services Bureau (GNPSB) carried out the arrest.
The woman was taken to Letterkenny Garda Station where she was questioned.
However, the woman was released earlier today without charge.
A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions and investigations are ongoing.
A 47-year-old man arrested on Monday as part of the same operation has been charged in connection with human trafficking.
The man, with an address in Stranorlar, was released on bail.
