Gardaí in Letterkenny are investigating the theft of a quantity of copper cable in the east of the county.
The incident occurred between Monday the 13th of June at 4.30pm and Tuesday the 14th of June at 7.30am from the Station Road area in Ballindrait, Lifford.
They are appealing to residents in that area to please contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074 916 7100 if they observed any suspicious vans/cars around this time or if they had any callers to their homes/yards/businesses enquiring about scrap metal etc.
If anyone has any similar type of materials stored at their premises or yard, they are being asked to ensure that it is well secured and kept out of view.
