Planning permission has been refused for 60 new houses in Ballybofey.
Donegal County Council refused the permission for the development in Cappry.
Permission had been sought for the houses which also included a landscaped area and toddler’s play area.
The application was made in the name of Harrison Ventures Limited.
However, the application has since been refused by the council.
Among the reasons given for the refusal of permission was inadequate vehicular and pedestrian access as well as issues over the use of open space on the proposed development.
