The McMonagle Stone plant in south Donegal has been granted planning permission to install hundreds of solar panels on its roofs.
Donegal County Council has given the company the green light for placing 341 of the units on three south facing roofs at their base in Mountcharles.
According to planning documents, the panels will provide it with 30 percent of the required power for its plant.
